The highly anticipated world premier of the Ferrari World Theme Park, located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, will be “a unique oasis of discovery, hospitality and beauty that captures culture, flavour and the true spirit of Italian country, as well as the legendary automotive history, feeling and heritage of Ferrari cars and racing.”
Upon completion in November 2009 Ferrari World will feature a driving course for visitors. This driving course is the same circuit that will host the 1st 2009 Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix in November called YAS MARINA CIRCUIT designed by Hermann Tilke.

During the 2007 foundation building ceremony a time capsule was buried, which contains a connecting rod and a piston from the 2007 World Champion F1 Ferrari Car along with an artist first impression of the theme park. The capsule will be opened in 2047, when Ferrari celebrates its 100th anniversary!
